Auto-Mag TDE "El Monte" Model 180, .44 AMP cal. auto pistol. Serial #A06068, mfg. El Monte, CA. Star of the silver screen when Inspector Callahan of "Dirty Harry" fame put aside the Model 29 and started blasting bad guys with multiple .44 hits with an Auto-Mag in 1983's "Sudden Impact" - caused a run on these much like the 29 did in the early 1970's. This specimen is in excellent condition with 6 1/2" vent rib barrel and excellent bore. Tight action. Has been shot very little. Stainless. Laminated wood grips are excellent. Two magazines. Massive frame! Original hard case with Auto-Mag gun oil bottle, small parts kit, Allen wrench. Long, long discontinued making it a fabulous investment piece with its cult following a la Eastwood. Nice!
