Colt Model 1877 "Lightning", .38 cal. double action revolver. Serial #135301, mfg. 1902. Excellent condition! Wow! A real screamer with 97% blue and 98% case color on frame. Very hard to find one this nice. Excellent bore, excellent cylinders. Colt factory hard rubber checkered grips are excellent. 4 1/2" barrel. A real dandy that came to me from the West, so it would be interesting to letter. Some muzzle wear and cylinder wear on the edges. Works wonderfully. Has been shot very little, if any. Matching serial numbers. Nicely presented in a vintage hardwood box with red crushed velvet interior (would guess age at earl 1900's) along with 27 cartridges in wood holders, small package of extra screws and Colt screwdriver. A fantastic piece of Americana! Nice investment piece. C&R OK.
